Barbara Ann Corcoran

 Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman from America. The Corcoran Group, an NYC real estate brokerage was established by Corcoran. NRT bought it in 2001 for $66 million. Corcoran later left the company. Corcoran was one of the original Shark Tank investors. She was a regular on every episode of ABC's Shark Tank. As of February 2020, she has made 53 deals for the show, the largest being a $350,000 investment to purchase 40% of Coverplay. Corcoran was born in Edgewater, New Jersey, the second of 10 children in a middle class Irish-Catholic family. Florence Corcoran's mother was a homemaker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. her father, was a multi-talented employee throughout Corcoran's early years. Sometimes, the family relied on the delivery of food for free from a local grocery store.
