Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as a host of American television at MSNBC and a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising together with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in May 2021 and start Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball says that she owes her interest in politics to the fact that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and also was able to observe the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact that it had on the citizens of her country and developed an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted The Cycle, an MSNBC show The Cycle. She created the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
